Terms & Conditions

1, Conditions of Hire
The contract is made between the ‘VISITOR’ (the name which appears on the booking form) and the ‘OWNER’ and it is deemed subject to the conditions on this contract.

2, Payment
Full Balance upfront if the Check-in date is within 28 days. If over, a deposit & card details are collected and then the full payment will be taken once 28 days to check-in hits. (You will receive a reminder about this closer to the time)

3, Electricity and Gas
All electric and gas for both heating and power is included in the rental price.

4, Overcrowding
Under no circumstances is it allowed for the maximum number of persons stated on the property description to be exceeded at any time.

5, Keys
Keys will be inside the front door on arrival day. On departure, keys are to be left inside the front door.

6, Arrivals
Visitors (unless special arrangements have been made) may take up occupation after 3.30pm on the day of arrival and must vacate promptly by 10.00am on departure day.

7, Linen
Bed linen, bath & hand towels are provided for each visitor requested on the booking form. In addition one kitchen & tea towel along with dish cloth, oven cloth, bath mat and toilet mat are provided.

8, Damage
Visitors are asked to vacate the premises clean and tidy. Any damages must be reported and damages/breakages are the responsibility of the visitor. If no effort is made to replace/repair, payment may be asked at the owner’s discretion.

9, Household/Electrical Appliances
We strive to keep all electrical appliances in a good condition. However, should you experience a problem please notify us immediately so that we can arrange any necessary repairs.

10, Pets
Well trained pets are welcome. We take no responsibility for their actions. Please ensure that the pets are exercised away from the properties and gardens. Please make sure that dogs are not left unattended in the properties. We provide poo bags at our bin station, please be sure to use them. Remember we have a lot of children. We have never had a problem to date and know that pet owners are very careful.

11, Cancellations
In the event of the visitor wishing to cancel the holiday property we must be notified at the earliest time. The deposit cannot be refunded. Visitors requiring cancellation insurance should make their own arrangements.

 

Achaderry Farmhouse is solely owned by Mr Tim Sims and operated by Achaderry Estate Ltd., The cottages and the log cabins  are operated by Cottage Holidays a partnership. The two business have come together for the purpose of marketing through the one website. They both share the same Terms and Conditions.
